My Gorin

“My Gorin” is what Vyacheslav Kaganovich called his presentation story.
This is a moving confession about learning about Gorin's work, about creating performances based on his plays. "My Gorin" is, in essence, a most interesting one-man show, despite the rich genre diversity: memories, reflections, reading short stories, excerpts from Gorin's plays and from the theater's performances.
This one-man show also has its own director – Mikhail Gurevich, who actively helped in selecting the material and in the compositional construction of the entire evening. And Vyacheslav Kaganovich recalls many things. For example, about what Grigory Gorin told us during his stay with us in Chicago. V. Kaganovich performs fragments from some of the playwright’s plays, reads his short humorous stories “Why the Bandage on the Leg” and “Meeting with the Famous Writer Burko”.
